2023 Speaker Round Up

We wanted to thank everyone who has worked with us, spoken for us, or just enquired with us this year.

These are just some of the highlights of the past year from events we had the opportunity to work on. We look forward to hopefully working with you in 2024 and wish you all a Merry Christmas

We were delighted to work on a large conference in January and supply Linda Moir, Sam Conniff, and Oli France – with Sir Steve Redgrave (pictured) closing the event for us. In the same month, Phil Olley delivered a “Star Your Year” workshop and Tracey Neville spoke at a school event before moving to Australia

February saw BJ Cunningham speak at a client’s annual conference, Cerrie Burnell spoke at a Diversity Festival, and Andrew Pain and Sue Firth spoke at a conference on Burnout and Stress in the workplace.

International Women’s Day in March and Jaz Ampaw-Farr (pictured) spoke for a client outside London, whilst Anne Wafula Strike and Jackie Handy spoke at diversity events in Dublin. Anj Handa spoke at two client events and James Poulter spoke at the London Business Forum virtual event

April was a busy month for Inspirational Speaker Anthony Bennett who spoke at 7 events for us. Winner of Britain Got Talent Jon Courtenay entertained guests at an annual awards event and Bianca Miller Cole spoke for a bank on Personal branding.

May saw Caspar Craven fly to Florence to speak at a training event, Ben Fogle (pictured) entertained guests at an Annual Dinner and the original Stig PerryBen Fogle speaker booking McCarthy host an awards event in London. Darren Edwards and Shahin Sadafi inspired guests at a headteachers conference

In June Pete Firman and Ian Moore entertained guests at separate awards events, and James Poulter flew out to Spain to speak at an annual conference. Cybersecurity expert Charlie McMurdie spoke at an event in London and Cally Beaton spoke at an internal conference for a client.

July was one of the busiest months of the year for events and one-half of the Hairy Bikers Si King, along with Ben Keene and Tilly Lockey (pictured) spoke at a largest festival event. We also had a number of end-of-year school events and Darren Edwards, Sally Orange, and Anthony Bennett all spoke at end-of-term awards. Josh Littlejohn and Trewin Restorick were two speakers at an annual conference in Scotland

With August being its usual quiet self – September proved to be a busy month kicking off with Justin Moorhouse and Mark Watson hosting awards events. Presenter Lorraine Hahn hosted an awards event in Hong Kong, and Garrett Emmerson and Trevor Williams spoke at a conference in Surrey

October was a busy month for conferences with female speakers with Shola Kaye, Sabrina Cohen Hatton (pictured), and Nicola Horlick all delivering keynote speeches. John Volanthan spoke at a virtual event and the inspirational Maria Conceciao traveled to Milan to speak at a client’s annual conference.

As for November – it seemed to go on forever and proved again to be the busiest month of the year with keynote speeches from Jim Lawless, Will Greenwood, and Amar Latif. Matt Ellison spoke at a number of events, and Tim Shaw spoke at an anniversary event for a client. James Poulter travelled to Belfast and we were delighted to have started to work with Alex Wood who spoke at an online event.

And in December this year, Josh Littlejohn (pictured) traveled to Brussels to speak at an event whilst Nick Leeson flew in from Ireland to speak at an annual Conference – with Tom Allen delivering the entertainment later in the day. To mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Anne Wafula Strike and Michael McGrath spoke at online events.

That is for 2023 – As always if we can help with your event please contact us on enquiries@scampspeakers.co.uk

We look forward to working with you in 2024.

We have worked with Matthew for many years and will continue to do so. His knowledge of the Speaker Market and ability to interpret our clients requirements is quite exceptional.

He is incredibly thorough in his approach and always goes that extra mile to ensure everything is exactly as required.

I am always happy working with Matthew, he has great credibility, he is very diverse in his ability to make things happen.

Matthew Fisher and I have worked together for many number of years. I have always found Matt to be honest, good natured and willing to work hard always carefully selecting the best appearances to suit my personality and lifestyle. The work Matthew has delivered for me over the years has varied from schools, colleges, attending film premiers, guest speaking  to name a few all of which I have lots of memories and thoroughly enjoyed.
