Tilly Lockey is a multi-talented, hardworking rising star and speaker who speaks on robotics, AI, diversity and inclusion and disability.

At 15-months old, Tilly Lockey was diagnosed with Menigococal Septicemia which meant she had to lose her hands, forearms, and toes to meningitis as a baby.

Developing state-of-the-art bionic arms with Open Bionics which she wears every day, Tilly Lockey has received a Humanitarian award in New York, won a talent competition, ‘Got What It Takes’ and has performed to an audience of 20,000 at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, all with a thriving online presence across all social platforms.

Raising awareness and public speaking her whole life passionately, she is now turning that leaf, all focused on the future and sparkles at all it could bring… Singer, Actress, TV Host, Presenter, Model, Social Influencer, Advocate, and Speaker… you name it, this girl will achieve it!

Tilly Lockeyis not only an inspiration but has a unique confidence and drive that pushes her to want to achieve her dreams. She is determined to confront and beat any obstacle in her way.

Tilly Lockey has spoken at many tech conferences and has shared the same stages as world dignitaries such as The Dalai Lama, Hillary Clinton, Kathleen Kennedy, Ndaba Mandela, and The King of Spain.

Our goal as a Foundation is to encourage girls to aim high, broadening the scope of endless opportunities that are available to them, and to fight the fixed gender stereotypes that still limit the ambitions of young girls, by connecting them with amazing female role models.
