New Speaking Topics
We hope everyone is having a good summer and hopefully getting some down time ahead of the busy Autumn period. We wanted to take this opportunity to update you on some minor changes to our website.
We have expanded out our topics section on our speakers page and have now included specific pages on new subject areas including Self Leadership and Disability Awareness. We have also separated out some of the joint topics so Technology & AI now has been split into two separate topics and Winning/Performance has just become High Performance and we have added an created a separate listing for Equality too.
These are just a few examples of speakers that are listed under some of the new headings.
SELF LEADERSHIP
Andrew Bryant, CSP, is the Global Authority on Self-Leadership in the Age of AI.
He is the Founder and CEO of Self Leadership International (est. 1999), a Certified Speaking Professional, executive coach, and the author of five books — including the foundational academic text Self Leadership (Bryant & Kazan, McGraw-Hill, 2012), now cited in more than 200 peer-reviewed papers, and his most recent work, POTENTIAL-IZE: How Leaders Unlock Human Potential in the Age of AI (Wiley, 2026).
Other speakers who cover self leadership include Phil Olley, Jaz Ampaw-Farr and Richard Gerver
DISABILITY AWARENESS
Anne Wafula Strike, MBE PLY, is an inspirational and motivational speaker on overcoming adversity, diversity, inclusion and disability awareness. Born in Mihu, Kenya, to Nekesa Ruth and Athumani Wafula, Anne was a fit and healthy child before polio struck when she was two years old. She was given the middle name of Olympia at birth, a title of prophetic significance for the future and prescient of hurdles she would face in forthcoming years.
Superstitious villages believed the family were cursed following Anne’s partial recovery from illness, which forced her family into decisions and acts that would change her life forever After completing A-levels and graduating from Moi University with a Bachelor of Education degree, Anne taught at Machakos Technical College in Kenya before meeting the man she would marry – which lead her to Britain, motherhood, wheelchair racing, disability advocacy and charity work
Other speakers on disability awareness include Winston Ben Clements, Tanni Grey Thompson, Amit Patel and Catarina Riveria
EQUALITY
The world is not yet fair or safe for women. That is not a background statistic. It is the reason Anj Handa does everything she does.
For over 20 years, Anj Handa has worked at the intersection of equality, leadership and structural change: as a professional lobbyist, governance specialist, consultant, community builder and speaker.
Her work is grounded in a single, unfashionable conviction: that women’s inequality is not a pipeline problem or a cultural inconvenience. It is a structural failure, reproduced through the design of organisations, boards and institutions that were not built with women in mind, and have not been adequately redesigned since.
Anj is the Founder of Inspiring Women Changemakers (IWC), a community and consultancy working toward a world that is safer and fairer for women and other marginalised people
Other speakers on equality include Catherine Mayer, Jackie Handy, and Dame Inga Beale
