Ruby Wax’s new book “And now for the Good News – To the Future with Love” is published in September.

Ruby Wax bookIn her previous book, How to Be Human: The Manual, Ruby presented us with a guide through the chaos of the 21st century and a user ’s manual for surviving life. Now, in And Now for the Good News…To the Future with Love, she’s searched out the green shoots in business, technology, education, community, health, and food that may be sprouting even now and, if we tend to them with care, they may just bloom into a spectacular future. The way to stop living in such a climate of fear is to turn our attention to the possible and positive. To pre-order the book click here

Inspirational speaker Debra Searle has sent us an update on her new webinar presentation-

Solo But Not Alone OR It’s Not Magic, It’s Mindset

There aren’t many people in the world who have spent more than 100 days totally alone, and there are probably even fewer who could say that they thrived during those 100 days. Debra Searle MBE spent 3.5 months rowing the Atlantic solo after her rowing partner developed a crippling phobia of open ocean and had to be rescued from their tiny plywood boat.

Those 3.5 months came to be life-defining as Debra had to quickly develop strategies to help her to overcome both the physical challenges and the unimaginable loneliness that she faced. In these unprecedented times of change and remote working, Debra has created virtual training for your team which will:

– Help them to stay sane, positive and moving towards the goal

 – Give them some personal tools to help them stay resilient

 – Help them to craft a new way of being and working

 – Encourage them to commit to some personal actions that will help them manage the situation positively

If you are looking for some good news at this time it might be worth looking at Graeme Codringtons recent posted on LinkedIn about what may happen after the Coronvirus pandemic is over. Please click here

Congratulations to Gary Hibberd who has been shortlisted in the category of Personality of he Year at the Cyber Security Awards 2020.
