2020 Scamp Speakers Highlights

As this is our last speaker news piece for 2020 we wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has worked with us this year.

These are a few highlights of some of the events and projects we have had the opportunity to work on this year.

Scamp Speakers Showcase

We kicked off 2020 with our first speaker showcase which took place in London and featured guest speakers Anj Handa, James Poulter, and Anthony Bennett.

Attended by 80 people, our first showcase also highlighted the work our Sister Company Scamp Solutions had done with the Justin Edinburgh Foundation.

The plan is to do a second showcase next year in person (if we can) and more details will follow when the time allows.

Innovation Festival

Tanni-Grey Thompson speaker bookingNorthumbrian Water’s 2020 Innovation Festival moved online this year. Normally held in Newcastle, the event made a successful switch online with a week dedicated to sprinting and hacking their way to solutions to some of the water sectors, environmental and societal challenges.

The event featured a number of keynote speakers and we were delighted to have helped supply Dame Tanni Grey Thompson, Wayne Hemingway, Hannah Fry, and Lucy Adams to name a few for the event.

Damon Hill

It was a pleasure to work with the 1996 Formula One World Champion, Damon Hill OBE on some online films for Etihad Airways.

The films provide a 360-degree view of Yas Marina Circuit allowing enthusiasts to view the five spectator grandstands at the Circuit – Main, North, West, South, and the Marina.

International Men’s Day

Eddie Edwards speaker bookingInternational Men’s Day took place on Thursday 19th November 2020 promoting positive role models and celebrate the men’s positive contributions and it was a busy day with a number of speakers speaking at online events.

Inspirational and Leadership speaker Jon White spoke to an international audience in the morning, whilst Anthony Bennett inspired guests with his story of overcoming adversity and the power of teamwork

Elsewhere, Eddie the Eagle Edwards spoke an at Association event online and entertained guests with stories from his career, and Career Dad, Dan Reed, shared a beer online whilst speaking online to an international audience including those from Australia.

Katherine Baker

Katherine Baker speaker bookingWhilst primarily our work lies in providing speakers for events, we were delighted to work with trainer, coach, and leadership speaker Katherine Baker on a series of online training videos

As a keynote speaker, facilitator, coach, and writer, Katherine Baker inspires people to maximise their personal and professional potential through developing deeper self-understanding and stronger communication techniques and in November this year, Katherine worked with a client to produce a series of online training videos to help train their leaders in influencing skills.

Elsewhere both Dame Kelly Holmes and Katie Piper spoke at two inspirational events online for the same client, inspiring staff from a number of different companies.

Thank you to everyone who worked with us this year and we look forward to working with you again in 2021.
