Despite working in the speaking industry and booking for speakers for over 25 years I am not actually that comfy speaking on stage myself. I have great admiration for anyone who can speak from the stage and whilst I can do it, I always see myself as more engine room that front of house.

It does however sometime may me feel like a bit of imposter and based on the enquiries we have received I don’t think I am the only one to experience this. These are a few speakers that talk on imposter syndrome, why we experience it and how to overcome it.

As we come to the end of summer and the start of Autumn we are delighted to have added 4 new speakers to our website.

Darren Harris is a blind Paralympian, psychologist, and speaker with an incredible story and a powerful mission to help others to go from adversity to achievement.

Tom Stroud and Dan Shrigley are the co-founders of Shoulder to Shoulder, a values-led community of over 1,700 men built around connection and purpose and speak on the importance of connection, happiness, belonging and modern masculinity.

Our September Book of the Month is “AI At Work: How to Build a Full Stack Organization” by AI and Innovation Expert and Speaker, James Poulter.

As fears of agentic obsolescence abound, organizations are struggling to implement AI in ways that enhance rather than replace human work. This unique book introduces a full-stack approach that balances technological capability with human values, ethics and practical applications.

Alan Chambers MBE is a Polar Explorer and an Inspirational, Motivational and leadership speaker who led the first successful British unsupported expedition from Canada to the Geographic North Pole.

Alan is also the founder of Mission Spiritus which brings together the Planet – People – Purpose – Projects, through seven science-focused expeditions across the globe.

In partnership with Columbia University’s Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, Mission Spiritus is advancing research into micro and nanoplastics in some of the world’s most remote environments – using exploration to turn scientific discovery into awareness, education and action. In September they launch its latest scientific expedition to Patagonia and Alan kindly sent us over some more details on the expedition

Established by Inclusive Employers, National Inclusion Week takes place in 2026 from the 14th to the 20th September 2026 and is a yearly event that is dedicated to celebrating inclusion and taking action to build inclusive workplaces.

The theme for 2026 is “Break Barriers. Navigate Change” and is about recognising that inclusion requires more than intention alone and needs ongoing action, accountability and a willingness to keep moving forward, even during periods of uncertainty and change.

We have expanded out our topics section on our speakers page and have now included specific pages on new subject areas including Self Leadership and Disability Awareness. We have also separated out some of the joint topics so Technology & AI now has been split into two separate topics and Winning/Performance has just become High Performance and we have added an created a separate listing for Equality too.
