Our November Book of the Month is “From Behind the Mask” by international speaker, leadership trainer, and Paddington Train Crash Survivor Pam Warren. Now, over a decade on from that terrible event, From Behind the Mask charts the true inside story of Pam’s journey from victim to survivor and campaigner.
With many organisations and individuals still learning about ChatGPT and AI and trying to understand what impact it is going to have (or is having) on how we work, James Poulter has developed a new talk to help clients find out some of those answers.
James Poulter is the founder and CEO of Vixen Labs one of the UK’s leading Voice Technology companies and is a thought leader and speaker on Innovation Culture, the Future of Work, and Emerging Technologies and has been delivering his talk “The Al Enabled Marketer” recently to a number of clients.
Established and launched by the United Nations in 1992, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities takes place on 3 December each year. The day recognises visible and invisible disabilities and promotes the importance of inclusion in life and the workplace.
If you are planning an event to mark the day these are just some of the inspirational speakers we work with who have overcome physical and mental hurdles to succeed in their respective fields.
This is our October Speaker News round-up this month featuring feedback on Alan Chambers, Nigel Taberner, James Poulter, and Michael Duberry; we welcome Pam Warren to our website; updates on new books from Warren Knight and Bianca Miller Cole, updated biogs from Sam Conniff and Josh Littlejohn, and news on Andrew Pain’s new podcast.

Our October Book of the Month is “Failure Breeds Success” by entrepreneur, growth mentor, consultant, and speaker on strategic change and Leadership, Mike Greene.
Failure Breeds Success is the first book by entrepreneur and international businessman Mike Greene. He was inspired to write it following an appearance on Secret Millionaire, the long-running Channel Four show. Working with underprivileged kids Mike saw that given half a chance they were able to change their life completely. It forced him to reflect on his own humble background and reflect that we all have the ability to turn setbacks into triumphs and achieve whatever we want to do in life.
Mindfulness is the human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us. Paying more attention to the present moment – to your own thoughts and feelings, and to the world around you – can improve your mental well-being.
Mindfulness-based therapies are recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) as a way to treat less severe depression
We work with a few speakers that cover mindfulness in their presentations so if you looking for a speaker on the subject these are a few to bear in mind
