Most Popular Speaking Topics
We often get asked what is the most popular speaking topic we get enquiries for.
To mark the end of 2023, we have looked through all the speaker bookings and enquiries we have had and shortlisted the top 5 subjects we get enquiries for – with an honorary mention of two subjects that have been on the rise in the last year.
The list is not in any particular order but be interesting to see whether this changes in 2024. We hope you find this interesting.

December 2023 Speaker News
This is our last speaker news of the year and this month we feature feedback on Shola Kaye, Sabrina Cohen Hatton, Sally Orange, Darren Edwards and Tilly Lockey; we welcome Marc Convey to the website; and we have news and updates from Chris Roebuck, Anne Wafula Strike, Perry McCarthy and Sina Kahen.
Young Offender – Michael Maisey
Our book of the month for December is “Young Offender – My Life from Armed Robber to Local Hero” by Michael Maisey, Non Profit Founder, Author and Mentor – From Prison to Purpose.
In Young Offender we see what turned a good kid into a wanted criminal. Abused by his uncle, bullied at school, at the age of twelve he found the safety he craved in the ranks of a local gang in West London. He graduated from shoplifting to armed robbery and for five years Michael was in and out of Feltham, on a downward spiral of crime and drug and alcohol addiction. At rock bottom, he began attending AA meetings. But the road to recovery would mean changing himself in the deepest possible ways. Could Michael finally learn what it meant to be a good man?
