NEW SPEAKERS

We are delighted to welcome Alex Staniforth and Michael Duberry to the website

Michael Duberry is a former professional footballer and keynote speaker on dealing with change, elite performance, and raising your game. There are very few that get the opportunity to play in the English Premier League. In fact, it is just 0.01% that make it to the upper echelon of English football. The average length of a professional footballer’s career is 8 years. Michaels exceeded that by 12 years!

Michael Duberry made a staggering 500 appearances for clubs and is honoured to include Chelsea, Leeds United, Stoke City, and Reading in that list. Cristiano Ronaldo, Gianfranco Zola, Ruud Gullit, and Thierry Henry are just some of the world-renowned footballers Michael frequently shared the pitch with. Among his many professional accolades, Michael is proud to include: English League Cup winner,  European Cup winner, and the European Super Cup.

Alex Staniforth
is a record-breaking endurance adventurer, motivational and mental health speaker, published author, brand ambassador, and charity founder from Cheshire, who has never taken the conventional path to the top.

As we emerge from the pandemic, shifting goalposts and uncertainty have left many running on empty, burnt out, and struggling to hold the pace. Alex brings insights from extreme adventures and ultra-endurance challenges down to earth, helping business uncover the tools to take advantage of adversity, protect their well-being and climb back up.

At the age of 25 he has already attempted Mount Everest twice – but Alex is not your typical Everest speaker. After single-handedly raising over £35,000 in corporate sponsorship whilst still at school, his first attempt to climb to the summit of Mount Everest in 2014 was abandoned following a tragic avalanche that took sixteen lives. Aged just 19, he returned a year later and survived an avalanche in the Khumbu Icefall, triggered by the Nepal earthquake, which trapped his team on the mountain for two days.

Alex speaks on Mental Resilience, Overcoming Adversity, and High Performance.

SPEAKER UPDATE

Andrew Pain is a TEDx / Keynote speaker, inspiring meaningful change and delivering practical strategies on critical aspects of leadership development, including; decision-making under pressure, burnout, effective delegation, time management, and personal performance.

NEW TALK – Unpacking resilience: how to step up when life’s worn you down

After 10 years of domestic abuse, the collapse of his business, and loss of house and assets, Andrew moved back to the UK, to his parent’s spare bedroom in Birmingham, before hitting rock bottom. He had no job, no income, and few contacts: he missed his young daughters (who he now saw very little of) he felt hopeless about the future and was angry and broken by the years of abuse: it simply didn’t feel fair that his life had turned out this way.

– How do you get moving when life feels pointless?
– How do you dig deeper when you’ve got nothing left?
– How do you inspire consistent levels of performance that can withstand adversity, so you can stay on your feet when you’re hit with setbacks?

In this inspirational keynote talk, Andrew shares his journey of regrowth in his own down-to-earth style: the false hopes, the steps forward and backward, the things which really worked, why personal progress is often a mess and a splat, not a curve or a line, and how he has come to where he is today, as a busy professional speaker and leadership coach working with some of the most successful organisations in the world: a father to 5, happily married husband, campaigner and advocate on key social issues (including domestic abuse).
