We Are Two

This week we celebrate our second anniversary since the launch of Scamp Speakers and I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of the speakers who have worked with us and all of the clients that have booked with us during this time.

In March last year, the impact of COVID saw one event after another postpone and the domino effect has continued until this day. While many events have pivoted to online and physical events not yet back, for the first time in a while we are starting to see some positive ripples for later on in the year.

Inclusion, equality, diversity, mental health, and resilience still seem to be the most popular subjects for online events, and whilst we all have the desire to meet in person, it is still heart-warming to get so much positive feedback from online events and see the impact and benefits speakers are bringing.

There are a lot of clients and speakers I want to thank for continuing to work with us during these difficult times and whilst I cannot mention everyone I want to say thanks to Anthony Bennett, James Poulter, Anj Handa, and Phil Olley for all their support and continued hard work and a special thanks to Winston Ben Clements, Anne Wafula Strike and Matt Ellison who we have worked closely with over the past months.

We still get the same buzz every time we book a speaker – no matter how big or small the event is – and take great pride in what we do. Yes, it has been a difficult time but we are looking forward to the start of our third year with hope and what feels like a lot more wisdom than we had this time last year.
