This is our March 2022 speaker news round-up. This month we welcome speakers Chris Lovett and Jackie Handy to the website, have feedback on Anthony Bennett, Catherine Mayer, Ashley John Baptiste, and Shahin Sadafi, and details on Lynne Franks Podcast and Alison Edgar’s new showreel.
FEEDBACKS
She was generous with her comments, as well as funny, intelligent, and charming. We’ve had so many wonderful comments from those who attended so couldn’t have asked for more, to be honest! – on Catherine Mayer
I booked Matt Ellison as the launch speaker for the University of Chester’s 2022 Diversity Festival. The theme of the Festival this year was Rethinking and Rebuilding Equality and Matthew gave great advice on the variety of speakers available from Scamp Solutions. I felt Matt was best suited to our theme and I was right! Matt was the perfect choice for the event, covering so much from his own inspirational story meaning the audience had so many take-home points on change, resilience, and most importantly, how small things make a big difference! – On Matt Ellison
It was a real pleasure to have Anthony present to our franchisees and we received a lot of really positive feedback. A personal story is very relatable and spoke to our audience and many commented on having enjoyed it very much. – On Anthony Bennett
Very inspirational. I am so moved to hear how strong and resilient you have been. On Ashley John Baptiste
He was excellent Matthew – they all loved him – On Shahin Sadafi
NEW SPEAKERS
We are delighted to welcome Minimalist Chris Lovett and speaker on Diversity and Inclusion Jackie Handy to the website
Chris Lovett is a minimalist, TEDx speaker, career mentor, professional coach, disruptive thought leader, and the author of the top ten self-sufficiency, green living, and business motivation book Discovery of Less. Chris Lovett is one of the UK’s only motivational speakers on minimalism and shares the incredible rewards around adopting a ‘less is progress’ approach in life and work.
His minimalist storytelling, and the timing of it, resonates deeply across personal and professional lives as he shares the inspirational story behind selling off, donating, recycling, and discarding virtually everything he ever owned and walking away from the security of a ‘successful’ career. For more info on his speaking topics please visit his webpage
Jackie Handy is a leading keynote speaker on diversity and inclusion in business leadership From selling antiques on her parent’s market stall as a 12-year-old, traveling the world working as a holiday rep in her early 20’s to spending a 15-year career as a recruiter and senior leader, before moving to Learning and Development in 2011, her skills and knowledge are extremely varied!
In 2018, Jackie Handy made the brave decision to share her personal story of bullying and exclusion in her TEDx talk, ‘The exclusive nature of inclusion’. This became the catalyst for her to become a leading authority in diversity, equity, and inclusion in business leadership.
The author of ‘The little book of belonging – your weekly guide to inclusive habits’, Jackie now works globally as a learning designer and facilitator, regular keynote and event speaker, and organisational consultant. She’s simply passionate about learning, growth, and humanity. For more information on her speaking work please visit her webpage
