We Are Three

April 2022 marks the 3rd Anniversary of Scamp Speakers. I could not quite have imagined what a roller-coaster it would have been when after nearly one year of trading the pandemic hit, live events stopped, and slowly the speaking events moved to online talks.

It is hard to think back at that time at how much it was quite a sharp learning curve and adapting to online talks, as now it seems almost standard to have someone wanting a talk online. In some ways, the pandemic has actually added another option to our industry with online talks. I remember many speakers at the start saying how they did not enjoy them and now some say they actually prefer it.

However, I still think the majority prefer the live-in person events and feedback from the recently returned live events has shown just how much both speakers and the audience alike have missed the in-person experience.

What we have enjoyed is the variety of speakers we have worked with in the past 3 years and you hope you are doing something right when speakers recommend you to other speakers they know.

I just wanted to say thank you to all the clients that have worked with us in the past year and to all the speakers who have spoken at events for us.

A special thanks to Anthony Bennett, James Poulter, Anj Handa, Phil Olley, Matt Ellison, Winston Clements, and Simon Weston who in particular have been very supportive of the work we doing, and thank you for all your hard work.

We hope everyone has an enjoyable Easter break in the coming weeks and hopefully look forward to working with you at some point in 2022.
