Whenever we book a speaker for an event we always try to find out as much detail on the event before we go to contract to avoid (as best we can) what we call any “nasty surprises”.

Some of these questions may include, is the event being recorded, how is it being promoted, what are the speakers technical requirements, what are the social media requirements, does the venue have accessible facilities, do you want slides in advance etc etc.

Whilst you obviously cannot control everything, being as prepared as possible is in my view helps thing to go as smoothly as possible. These are a few speakers we work that talk on the importance of preparation and being prepared.

Over the years I have been fortunate enough to have booked a lot of comedians to deliver stand up sets at awards dinners and conference dinners. However we also work with a number of speakers from the comedy world who deliver more motivational/business talks all around the power of comedy and what you can learn from comedy and use in the corporate world.

Sally Orange MBE is an endurance runner, adventure athlete & mental health campaigner. She is the only person on the planet to complete a marathon on every continent in fancy dress (as different pieces of fruit!), which gives you a flavour of her colourful personality.

I first worked with Sally back in 2023 and since then she has spoken for us for a number of clients from schools, public sector clients and corporate clients and is always a joy to work with.
