We are excited and delighted to be representing Marc Convey – a motivational speaker, burns survivor, and advocate for triumph over trauma. Marc’s strong belief is that you can survive anything if you develop the inner resources to face it and forge a new path, whatever your physical limitations.

We hope everyone has had a lovely Easter Break. This is our April Speaker News round-up and this month we feature feedback on Donna Fraser, Matt Ellison, and Marc Hogan; we welcome Daniel Ashville, Will Njobvu, and Jose Ucar to the website; we have updated biogs from Alison Edgar MBE and Caspar Craven and a new showreel from Tilly Lockey. 

Dan Driver is an award-nominated comedian, actor, writer, and theatremaker who has devised and written performance work for screen and stage.

He recently premiered his new solo show, The Sound of Muzak, to sold-out audiences at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2024, gaining a nomination for The Audience Choice award. The show is now touring to fringe festivals and venues throughout the year.

These are some of his tour dates coming up this year.  

The 2024 Speaker Summit and Speaker Awards are taking place this year on Friday 5th July 2024 in London.

We work with a range of speakers that can either help to manage threats to your cyber security, including some speakers who talk on their own personal experience of cyber-attacks and those who have carried them out,- who now talk on how to stop others from doing the same.

It is 5 years ago in April 2019 that Scamp Speakers was launched. In the week before the launch, the wonderful Jim Lawless kindly sent me this gift (see photo)

As inspiration for this anniversary piece, I started to look at the statistics of the business; how many bookings we have taken, the profile of the events we have worked on and the clients we have had the privilege to work with. As I was looking through the data I realised I was focusing on the growth of the business rather than how we have built the business.
