March 2021 Speaker News

Thank you to everyone who has worked with us in March this year. It has been a relief to see our children return to school and wonderful to see so many people marking International Women’s Day this year. Our March Speaker News features feedbacks from some recent events including Anj Handa, Matt Ellison, and Clarke Carlisle, and we have some new showreels including Phil Olleys and Katherine Baker, as well as welcoming David Schneider & Leila McKenzie to the website.

FEEDBACK

These are some recent feedback from events in March

“It was so amazing. I really believe his words were heard. The questions could have gone on for hours”. On Clarke Carlisle.

“We had the pleasure of hearing all about Matt’s transgender journey, in his inspiring and enlightening talk as part of a wider Diversity & Inclusion event at Adaptive. Matt’s story was deeply personal, touching, and a real eye opener for everyone who attended. Matt is a fantastically engaging speaker, and managed to combine real learning about transgender issues, with a delve into his own personal experience, which really brought to life the everyday struggles that the transgender community face. Thank you, Matt!” On Matt Ellison

“My CEO was grinning from ear to ear and I could tell how much he enjoyed the presentation. Tricia spoke freely, naturally, and added humour to a touching story of how dedication and teamwork can be a success in helping others. Her enthusiasm was infectious and we were honoured to have her present to our members today, International Women’s Day” – On Tricia Stewart

Anj was an absolute superstar, with a VERY short turnaround time, Anj delivered a fantastic and tailored keynote at our International Women’s Day event. I’d highly recommend Anj and her approach to the glass ceiling. It was thought-provoking and really fit the #choosetochallenge theme this year. Thanks for all your hard work and collaboration” Innovate UK on Anj Handa

If you would like to listen to Anj Handa speaking at an event, as a Fellow of the RSA she is speaking at their Making Change Equitable Event on the 23rd March 2021.
