This is our July 2025 speaker news round up this month featuring feedback on Alex Wood, Lisa Potts, Anthony Bennett and Rob Forkan; we welcome Sameer Rawjee and Prakiti Varshney to the website; we have updates from Sally Gunnell and Chris Lovett and have updates on some changes made to our website.

NEW SPEAKERS

We are delighted to have added Sameer Rawyjee and Prakiti Varshney to the website

Sameer Rawjee is an leading speaker in what in means to be human at work, helping clients to  stand out from robots, and develop their own unique Human Intelligences and contribute to a better future for humanity.

Sameer is the founder of the Life Design Movement at Google, a programme for exploring purpose at work which has served over 10,000 Google employees globally, and has also been taught at INSEAD, Trinity College and the London Business School.

Sameer is a serial venture builder via O School Ventures, where he partners with companies like Meta, Salesforce and TikTok to help young professionals prepare for new futures. He has been invited to speak at Standard Bank, ENS and Investec on how to be intelligent in a new world, and has shared his thoughts on the future of education and business with the Investec Private Wealth community across South Africa.

His Book “Taking the Anxiety out of AI” was published in paperback in April 2025 and explores –

  • The nature of human intelligence vs. artificial intelligence
  • What AI can do — and what it can’t
  • Tasks that will always be better suited for humans
  • The future of a world where humans and AI work side by side

Prakriti Varshney is a high-altitude mountaineer, solo traveller, inspirational speaker and the first vegan Indian to summit Mount Everest – along with other formidable peaks like Makalu (8481m), Ama Dablam, Kilimanjaro, Aconcagua, and many more around the world.

Prakriti isn’t just a mountaineer—she’s a multi-sport adventure athlete, embracing life through Marathon Running, Certified Scuba Diver, and a Snowboarder & Paragliding Pilot

After leaving her family home in 2016, she moved to Manali to open a hostel and now volunteers with an animal rescue NGO.
Prakriti’s mission goes beyond climbing mountains; it’s about using her journey to inspire others to rise above fear, embrace discomfort, and discover their own inner summits.

Prakriti Varshney shares her amazing story as the first vegan woman to reach the top of Mt. Everest in May 2022 at the Everest Summit 2.0 event organized by the i3 Foundation. She also talks about climbing Mt. Makalu in May 2023 and being the second Indian woman to summit Mt. Ama Dablam in 2021

Drawing on her from experiences in some of the world’s harshest environments she has delivered talks on

SPEAKER UPDATES

Sally Gunnell is an Olympic Athlete who won gold at the Barcelona 1992 Olympics, in the 400m hurdles. Following her retirement from international athletics, Sally developed a new career as a television presenter and motivational speaker.

She has written four books on fitness, health, self-fulfilment and well-being. She has recently sent us some updates on her keynotes talks including –Unlocking High Performance: Lessons for Life, Business, and Teams, Sustaining Excellence: Beyond the Podium and Wellbeing and Performance: The Mind-Body Connection 

Chris Lovett is a inspirational speaker and the UK’s leading corporate minimalist and bestselling author transforming overwhelmed and overworked teams into sustainable high performing leaders through his modern “less is more” strategy, remixed for a post covid world.

As Amazon’s Top 10 bestselling author of Discovery of Less (2021) and upcoming book Relentless (2026) Chris has cracked the code on corporate minimalism – helping time poor talent cut through busyness chaos to focus on what truly drives results. His TEDx talk “Less Busy, More Impact” has resonated with hundreds of thousands of viewers who are drowning in workplace overwhelm. He has recently sent us some updated info on his keynote speeches which can be found on his webpage

And lastly congratulations to Clarke Carlisle who won £100,000 for Soccer Aid on a 1% Club Special on ITV at the weekend.
