“Trewin provided a good overview of the big picture regarding climate change and its impact, and then some real-world, tangible solutions that we could apply both in our everyday lives and at work.” On Trewin Restorick June 2024

“Yes, absolutely fantastic! She was great, and I have been receiving lots of positive feedback” On Anna Hemmings May 2024

“James was simply amazing, very engaging, and so knowledgeable. His session was a huge success, and everyone is raving about it.” On James Poulter May 2024 (pictured)

John was brilliant. A gripping after-dinner talk perfectly delivered and prompting lots of questions and interaction from our audience. John was very popular and made our event so special.” On John McCarthy May 2024

We are delighted to have added Orla Chennaoui to the website

Orla Chennaoui is a multi-lingual television sports presenter, journalist, podcaster, and writer, with a sideline in lifelong anxiety. As a junior athletics champion, classically-trained violinist, and law graduate, Orla Chennaoui was familiar with working hard to achieve success, but only later realised her years of overachieving were rooted in an as-yet undiagnosed anxiety.

A plunge into post-natal depression in 2015 was the trigger for Orla to begin to understand the ways her mental health had shaped her life path, letting go of alcohol as a form of self-medication and deep-diving into research that led her to her refreshing conclusion; that anxiety can be a superpower.

Topics Include

  • Living in a world of fear and how to free both yourself and your workplace, including the science of fun.
  • Recognising anxiety in the workplace. How to best manage anxiety at work for both you and your colleagues.
  • Turning anxiety into your superpower. How to recognise the benefits of being hardwired for anxiety and all the ways in which you can use it for good.
  • The power of your autonomic nervous system and how to use breathwork to up-regulate and down-regulate your emotions. In particular, this session involves managing stress and how to fire yourself up for big presentations, using Orla’s tips from live TV.
  • The power of language and the neuroscience behind self-talk. Using Orla’s linguistic skills she will demonstrate the ways in which something as basic as the words you use can impact your mental wellness.

Dominic Colenso is a Specialist Communication and Performance speaker for Sales and Leadership Teams. He has sent us details of his talk on – Creating Impact – Unlocking Star Performance –

The world of work has evolved. Technology has accelerated the pace of change. But some of our human connection has been eroded and our confidence in high-stakes environments has been knocked. If we want to truly create an impact we need to harness the power of analogue communication in this digital age. Whatever our job title, if we want to stand out from the crowd, we need to develop the skills to engage with others on a human level. We need to be able to capture the imagination and take our audience on a journey. Our interactions need to move from the transactional to the transformational.

Whether we’re networking, selling, or having a conversation with our team, understanding our personal impact is vital to our success and our ability to influence. How confident do we feel under pressure? What do others say about us when we are not in the room? Are we able to assert ourselves and hold our ground in challenging scenarios? This high-energy interactive session will teach you practical tools and techniques to ensure that you have more impact and perform at your best.

What are the takeaways?

  • Develop a winning mindset for successful, authentic communication and collaboration
  • Learn how to increase your confidence and banish your nerves
  • Understand your non-verbals and the hidden messages you are transmitting
  • Develop your ability to articulate your message clearly
  • Understand how to speak your audience’s language and increase your influence
