Adam Parsons
Conference Host & Facilitator
Adam Parsons is the Europe Correspondent for Sky News having moved from Business Correspondent in August 2019 having previously presented Wake Up To Money on 5 Live and is an excellent conference host & conference moderator and after dinner speaker.
Adam has also been an occasional business presenter for BBC News and BBC World and before that, he was also Director of Communications & Public Affairs for the British Olympic Association and has also been on the board of Travelodge Hotels.
He started his career in the printed press and was the motor racing correspondent at The Sunday Times before moving to Sunday Business as Sports Editor.
At the BBC he spent time as a Sports Correspondent and some of his adventures saw him chase Martin Johnson along the beach during the Rugby World Cup and trailing around Tokyo shops in search of David Beckham. He has also raced with Damon Hill and collaborated with him on a book about racing.
Adam Parsons took on the role of Director of Communications and Public Affairs for the BOA after covering the 2012 Olympic Games for the BBC. After this, he moved to Director of Sport Liaison, a role that saw him advising and promoting British athletes and National Governing Bodies. He also had a spell as Communications Director at Travelodge before returning to the BBC and then onto SKY.
As well as a wealth of experience conference hosting and facilitating events for both business and sports events, he has a wealth of anecdotes to share as an after dinner speaker, covering anything from business journalism to Formula One to London 2012 to what happens in TV when the cameras are off!
