The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day, which takes place in the UK on Friday 8th March 2024, is “Invest in women: Accelerate progress”

The aim of the IWD 2024 is to help achieve gender equality and improve women’s well-being in all aspects of life – more information can be found on the UN website. 

If you planning an event around International Women’s Day these are a few of the inspirational speakers we would recommend.

Anthony Bennett is an Inspirational and motivational Speaker and fundraiser who learned how to walk, talk and breathe again without the aid of machines, after contracting multiples viral infections on the return from a school trip abroad.

Whilst most of his speaking work has been for keynote sessions, Anthony has now developed a longer interactive 90mins session which has been proving popular for events.

This is our first speaker news of 2024 and we hope the year has been going well for everyone so far. This month we feature –

Crises can occur at any moment with or without warning and can take many forms – from personal crises to corporate/organisational crises. 

Whilst businesses can aim to plan properly for critical events, it does not always work out. These are a few speakers who can either speak on their own crisis management experiences, what they did at the time, and how they dealt with the pressure or talk on how to lead in times of crisis.

To mark the end of 2023, we have looked through all the speaker bookings and enquiries we have had and shortlisted the top 5 subjects we get enquiries for – with an honorary mention of two subjects that have been on the rise in the last year.

The list is not in any particular order but be interesting to see whether this changes in 2024. We hope you find this interesting.
