Specialist Speakers
Whilst it is fair to say that our most popular speaking requests are for speakers on mental health, diversity, leadership, change, and technology, we of course do get requests for speakers on other subjects too.
Some of the speaking requests can be a bit more specialist than others, so we wanted to take this opportunity to just highlight some of the speakers we work with whose subject matter is a little more specific than others.
Explorers Grand Slam
Back in July Maria Conceicao became the first Portuguese Woman to conquer K2 and is set to make history as she has just embarked on her attempt to summit Puncak Jaya in Indonesia (the highest peak in Indonesia) and become the first Portuguese woman to complete the prestigious Explorer’s Grand Slam.
The Explorer’s Grand Slam requires participants to summit the highest peaks on all seven continents (the Seven Summits) and ski to both the North and South Poles. Everyone at Scamp Speakers wishes her all the best as she embarks on this new challenge.
Disruption Speakers
One of the definitions of disruption is – “….. radical change to an existing industry or market due to technological innovation”
We live in an era of disruption and if you are looking for a speaker on disruptive new ways of working, creating a culture of innovation, or how they have disrupted the industry they work in – these are a few of the speakers we work with.
Unlock the Everyday
Unlock the Everyday is a campaign backed by ATscale and partner organisations from across the global health, development, and disability sectors. ATscale is a cross-sector global partnership, hosted by UNOPS, with a mission to transform people’s lives through assistive technology.
On Monday 23rd September 2024, campaigners took over Times Square to call on decision-makers gathering for the United Nations General Assembly to prioritise policies that will improve the lives of millions of people, including those with disabilities, chronic health conditions, physical impairments, and older people around the world. Amongst those in attendance was inspirational speaker and disability campaigner Anne Wafula Strike, who spoke at a reception that evening just off Times Square.
