We Are One

We Are One! This week was suppose to be a celebration of our first year of trading at Scamp Speakers.

However, with effectively all events being postponed due to the coronavirus it has been a testing and challenging time but we fully understand that the health and safety of everyone must come first.

I don’t pretend to know what the exact situation is like in every similar business to us, but what we do know is so far is that every speaker has been very understanding and accommodating and the desire to help clients by moving their bookings to new dates has been fantastic. Many have even created new online keynotes to try and help clients through these times.

The speaking and events industry is a wonderful community that I have been delighted to have been involved with for the last 20 years.

We are all one and in this together and I would like to thank everyone who has supported us, booked with us and spoken for us in the last year.

It has on the whole been a wonderful adventure and I look forward to working with you again at some time soon.

Highlights from Year One

We have been very honoured to have had the opportunity to work with some wonderful speakers on an exclusive basis and it has been a real joy to get to know them and garner them more speaking work. These speakers include –

Anj Handa – Founder of Inspiring Women Changemakers & and inspiring speaker on Social Impact and inclusion

James Poulter – Head of Vixen Labs and a Speaker on the Future of Work & Voice Technology

Anthony Bennett – An Inspiring speaker who overcame illness to walk, talk and speak again and helped raised millions of pounds for charity.

Gianfranco Chicco – Experience & Design Speaker and founder of the Craftsman Newsletter

Phil Olley – Inspirational Speaker and Author of The Nexus Code and speaker on High Performance and Leadership & Improving Mindset

New Speakers

In addition to the above we are always looking for new speakers to feature on our site. It is always a buzz getting a speaker booking for someone who is passionate about what they speak on but yet relatively new to the speaking circuit. These include;

Shahin Sadafi – Founder of Grenfell United and speaker on the power of community and working together.

Dan Reed – Founder of Career Dad and speaker on gender diversity and flexible working.

Andy Smith – Exec Director of LVCG and Chairman of Bright Bricks the worlds largest brick model building company globally and a motivational and business speaker.

Harry Daymond – Harry Daymond is an inspirational award-winning young entrepreneur, business speaker and founder of Kart Kompany Ltd.

COMEDIANS

Whilst our primary business is booking motivational and business speakers for events, we have been able to help some clients with acts that don’t always feature on our site.

In the past year we have worked with comedians, Chris Ramsey, Rod Woodward, Alfie Moore and Jo Caulfield to name a few – and it is an always a pleasure to help clients with whatever requests they have. We even booked a Queen Tribute Act for one client

SCAMP SOLUTIONS

We have worked on a number of cross over projects with our sister company Scamp Solutions and in the summer last year helped to supply Ortis Deley and Georgie Barrat for the Audi E-Tron film shoot from the UK to Brussels.

Scamp Solutions was also proud to work with the Justin Edinburgh3 Foundation and as their content partner worked with them to produce some films for their Charity Ball last year.
