Whilst a majority of our enquiries and bookings are for motivational and business speakers, we do get requests for entertaining after-dinner speakers and comedians too – especially if a client is holding an all-day event and with dinner and they want a speaker in the day and entertainment in the evening. Below are just a few of the entertaining after-dinner speakers we work with if you are planning a dinner function this year.

Mental Health and Wellbeing continue to be popular subjects we get requests for speakers on. With organisations wanting to provide more support for their staff, we have also received specific requests for speakers on such subjects as dealing with grief, anti-bullying, burnout, and the menopause. These are some speakers that can cover mental health and wellbeing in general, they can also speak more specifically on some of their own experiences on some of these subjects.

Our May 2022 Book of the Month is “The Shape of Engagement: The Art of Building Enduring Connections with Your Customers, Employees, and Communities” by Engagement Specialist and speaker Scott Gould. In this book, Scott Gould unveils the shape of engagement through seven frameworks, each one giving a powerful insight into how to build meaningful relationships with your customers, employees, and customers.

The 2022 Commonwealth Games will take this place this year in Birmingham between Thursday 28th July 2022 and Monday 8th August 2022. It is the first time Birmingham has hosted the Games and unlikely the Paralympics, parasport events are included alongside other sports on the program. If you planning an event in or around the Games, these are just a few of the inspirational speakers we work with that could be of interest.

This is our April 2022 Speaker News round-up, this month featuring updated biogs and speaking topics from Dan Keeley and Jon Burkhart, feedback on events on Kev Orkian, Wayne Hemingway, Mark Van Rijmenam, and Dr. Amit Patel; as well as updates from Phil Olley and a special congratulations to Geoff Ramm.

COP26 took place in November 2021 and brought together parties to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. Since then we have received more enquiries from companies looking for speakers who can talk about being more sustainable and improving their CSR programs as well as speakers who can talk more on climate change, conservation, and renewable energies.
