Paul Lewis – Financial Journalist & Speaker

Paul Lewis has been a freelance financial journalist since 1987. He writer and speaker extensively on money issues and is a regular guest on BBC TV and Radio programmes.

Paul became established in the public’s eye as a reporter on BBC’s Money Box in the 1990s and, following a three year stint on Radio 5 Live, returned as presenter on Money Box in September 2000. He also regularly appears on other BBC Television programmes such as BBC Breakfast, BBC News Channel, BBC Radio 4 topical shows such as You and Yours, Woman’s Hour and Analysis, as well as BBC Radio 4 news programmes like Today, The World at One and PM.

Paul is also a regular columnist for a wide variety of magazines and newspapers, including Saga Magazine and The Oldie. He has also written for the Daily Telegraph and Reader’s Digest. His books include Money Magic, Live Long and Prosper, Pay Less Tax, Beat the Banks, and Making Your Money Work.

Highly respected amongst his journalistic peers and the financial sector, Paul has won more than a dozen awards, including a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association of British Insurers, Consumer Pension and Investment Journalist of the Year, Headline Money Journalist of the Year (2010), Association of Investment Companies Broadcaster of the Year and a recipient of the 2012 Roses media award.
