Kevin Gaskell is the former head of UK operations for Porsche and BMW, and an in-demand business speaker on building world-class businesses, business turnaround and improving performance.

A former CEO of some the Worlds highly respected brands, Kevin is a serial entrepreneur in his own right. Running a software business, heading a Fintech operation, and taking over the helm at a luxury boatbuilder. He has also outside work walked to both Poles with Alan Chambers CBE and climbed the highest peaks in the world.

Kevin is passionate about everything he does and has created over £3 billion in shareholder value for the companies he has worked with. He has led businesses in sectors including automotive, branded goods, technology, data, professional services, and marine.

He passionately believes that ordinary people can deliver extraordinary results if they are given the opportunity to contribute towards its achievement. His successes have always been with a team, and his ability as a natural leader meant he was able to engage his teams to achieve success.

Kevin’s early career saw him move from a qualified engineer, to an accountant and before pursuing a career that took him through the construction industry, the chemical industry and then into the automotive sector, where he was appointed UK Managing Director of Porsche at the age of 32 and BMW GB at the age of 37. It was leading the turnaround of Porsche from close to bankruptcy to market leader that saw Kevin, recognised as one of the most capable leaders of his generation. He consolidated that recognition with 4 years as Managing Director of BMW (GB) during which he led the business to record growth and a 500% improvement in profitability.

Kevin celebrated his 40th birthday by climbing on Mount Everest. He has subsequently climbed and continues to climb, some of the world’s highest mountains. He has also walked with his son, unsupported, to both the North and South Poles to raise money for Cancer Research and to support the personal development of special needs students.
