New Speaker – Frederick Afrifa

We are delighted to now be working with Frederick Afrifa, a former elite sprinter and communications and high performance speaker, who speaks on how to perform under pressure, master communication and destroy anxiety.

Frederick has trained over 20,000 professionals across four continents, working with organisations including 10 Downing Street, Shell, Arsenal FC, NatWest, Barclays, Imperial College London, King’s College London and TEDx. He is co-founder of leadership communication group and a judge for The Speaker Awards. We look forward to working with him

ABOUT FREDERICK

Frederick Afrifa’s story is one of radical reinvention through communication. Born in Milan, he arrived in South London at age 12 speaking no English, sharing a single bedroom with his family of four. That experience — of needing to find your voice in a world that doesn’t speak your language — became the foundation of everything he teaches.

He went on to represent Italy as an elite sprinter, winning two national gold medals and competing at the European Championships. When his athletics contract ended in 2020, he worked as a delivery driver before rebuilding his career around communication.

Within four years he had built a global coaching business, been recognised by the BBC as one of the UK’s leading public speaking experts, and appeared on BBC’s The Apprentice UK (2025).

He has worked with executives, teams, and organisations who need to perform in the highest-stakes moments — board rooms, investor pitches, government briefings, keynote stages. He doesn’t teach confidence. He teaches clarity under pressure.
