About Jackie Handy
Jackie Handy is a leading keynote speaker on diversity and inclusion in business leadership
From selling antiques on her parent’s market stall as a 12-year-old, travelling the world working as a holiday rep in her early 20’s to spending a 15 year career as a recruiter and senior leader, before moving to Learning and Development in 2011, her skills and knowledge are extremely varied!
In 2018, Jackie made the brave decision to share her personal story of bullying and exclusion in her TEDx talk, ‘The exclusive nature of inclusion’. This became the catalyst for her to become a leading authority in diversity, equity and inclusion in business leadership.
The author of ‘The little book of belonging – your weekly guide to inclusive habits’, Jackie now works globally as a learning designer and facilitator, regular keynote and event speaker, and organisational consultant. She’s simply passionate about learning, growth and humanity.
Fellow of the Professional Speaking Association UK & Ireland (PSA), Jackie was honoured to be appointed as their first post holder of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Director in 2021. She also volunteers as a mentor to young people through the Employability UK Kickstart Mentoring Scheme.
