J.Y. Kelly
J.Y. Kelly wasn’t dreamt up by a marketing agency. She began with a dare.
Behind the pink wig is Stephen J. Whitton — keynote speaker, thinking partner and founder of men’s mental wealth initiative [M]enable, whose career began in the traditional, male-dominated world of the automotive industry.
For years, Stephen knew what it meant to fit in, perform the expected version of yourself and keep parts of who you are safely out of sight.
Then came drag.
What started as something fun became unexpectedly revealing. J.Y. Kelly gave Stephen permission to play, express himself, make people laugh and experience the freedom that comes from worrying less about who you’re supposed to be.
Today, J.Y. brings that experience onto corporate stages. There is laughter. There are sequins. There may be some questionable singing. But underneath the fabulousness sits a serious question:
How much energy do people waste trying to fit in?
Through story, humour, audience interaction and lived experience, J.Y. explores joy, identity, belonging, courage and human connection — and what those things mean for the way people show up at work.
Because joy isn’t simply the fun bit. When people feel accepted, connected and free to be themselves, they can bring more of themselves to what they do.
More joy. More you. Better performance.

J.Y. Kelly is available also to host awards evenings if required.
Oh boy! Or rather, oh joy! What a joy it is to be in the audience at an event where J.Y Kelly is hosting. I saw her MC an association's entertainment evening and can see her working well hosting award ceremonies, conference or staff event evenings - or as an after dinner speaker, with a twist.

I saw J.Y. Kelly host a PSA Cabaret night, and they brought a real burst of colour and energy to the room. Some events can feel a bit by the book, like an order of service, but J.Y. turned it into a proper cabaret.
They kept the audience involved, laughing, and part of the experience. There was just the right mix of cheekiness, humour, and warmth, and a vibrancy that lifted everyone in the room.

If you’ve never experienced the joy of having a Drag Queen as your MC, let me save you the trouble of Googling it: book J.Y.Kelly darlings.
From the moment they strutted onto the stage, the entire room was in the palm of their (perfectly manicured) hand. With razor-sharp wit, flawless timing (and stockings) and the kind of charisma you can’t teach, J.Y.Kelly turned an ordinary Cabaret night into a memory people are still talking about.
They didn’t just host, they commanded the room. They knew when to bring the sass, when to drop the punchlines and when to touch hearts with genuine warmth. That balance of comedy and connection is rare and J.Y.Kelly made the night not only entertaining but unforgettable.
