Speaker Update

We are delighted to welcome two new speakers to the Scamp Speakers website and are looking forward to working with them both.

Gary Hutton– Awarding winning Charity Founder, author of the book ‘Product of a Postcode’ & Motivational Speaker

Gary Hutton is an inspirational and motivational speaker who talks on the importance of education in life and how you can overcome adversity and take on any challenges thrown at you and the importance of developing a passion that will deliver all you need in life.

Gary grew up in the East End of London where violence and crime was all he knew. School was somewhere to go to eat as they were giving away free food, and he was never told about the importance of education in life, or even why he was going to school. It was either go to school or go and live in a children’s home.

As a young boy, he was taught how to steal by the one person who should have been his role model and mentor – which eventually ended up with Gary being imprisoned for his part in major crime.

Gary is a product of his circumstances but he is a survivor, and having found himself in a padded cell being pumped with drugs he did not break him, instead it made him and Gary set about turning his life around.

Gary Hutton founded the Award Winning Charity “Product of a Postcode” and does his best to help steer young people in the right direction any way he can, through mentoring and talking to young people heading down the same path he found himself on in his younger years. Gary took the charity from an idea to becoming an alternative education provider for local councils in schools across London and the Home Counties.

The book “Product of a Postcode” also written by Gary, saw all of its profits go to charity as Gary now the importance of giving back.

Dominic Colenso – Moments of Impact – Motivational Speaker

Dominic Colenso knows a thing or two about the highs and lows of performance. By the time he was 26 he had flown a Thunderbird, lost one million dollars and been fired by Simon Cowell. Beginning his career as a professional actor, he worked extensively on stage and screen before training as a director at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.

Performing in many of the UK’s leading theatres including The National Theatre and The Royal Court, Dominic has appeared on film in everything from BBC period dramas to big budget action movies. He is best known for playing Virgil Tracy in the Hollywood adaptation of Thunderbirds with Bill Paxton and Sir Ben Kingsley.

Dominic’s experience and fascination in how the body, breath and voice can influence performance led him to set up his communication skills training consultancy In Flow and to write his bestselling book “IMPACT: How to be more confident, increase your influence and know what to say under pressure”. Dominic now works with organisations around the world to help individuals, teams and leaders take centre stage and deliver outstanding performances.
