MAY 2020 SPEAKER NEWS

After another month of lockdown, our May news has a strong emphasis on the virtual space, featuring updates from speakers on the virtual sessions they are offering, some updated showreels and biogs and several new speakers added to the website.

Cate Trotter is the Founder and Head of Trends at Insider Trends, and an adviser and speaker at events helping companies to know what is coming next in the world of retail. Cate has recently sent us her updated showreel.

Inspirational speaker Shahin Sadafi has recently recorded podcasts for a client on overcoming adversity. More information to follow.

News Presenter Samantha Simmonds and her friend Lauren Libbert have recorded a new episode of their Podcast Its A Grown Up Life” about Women in Lockdown. Samantha also recently presented the Asia 50 Best Restaurant online.

We delighted to have added Olympic Swimmer Sharron Davies to the Scamp Speakers website. One of the UK’s best known swimmers, Sharron has recently expanded her motivational speeches to include exercise sessions for online events.

We are also pleased to have added Dr Beth Healey to the Scamp Speakers website. Beth is an emergency medicine doctor who has researched the impact of isolation on peoples mental health and wellbeing and is offering talks on the subject during this time of lockdown.

Nigel Risner is now running webinars and zoom presentations so that people and their organisations can become Champions in their own right.

John Amaechi has developed two new virtual webinar session around Leading Through a Crisis.

The Connected Leadership Series – Comprising of 3 virtual masterclasses to develop and hone skills specifically for leading in the nascent environment. Each 60 minute interactive masterclass delivered by John combines awareness, learning and behaviour change techniques

The Big Question is an hour long thought leadership session for leaders during which John will provide solutions to some of the new and complex challenges created by Covid-19.

Ruby Wax has been delivering some talks as webinars speaking on good mental health in lockdown aswell as offering mindfulness sessions to businesses online to help during these difficult times.

The founder of Inspiring WomenChangemakers, Anj Handa recently wrote a piece for Yorkshire Businesswoman magazine about how her garden has evolved over the years. Whilst a personal piece, the article touches upon the importance of Upcycling and recycling.
