Marathon Inspirational Speakers

It was a real pleasure to have taken part in the Paris Marathon on Sunday 14th April 2019 and beat my London Marathon time by 14mins. It was my second and last marathon (he says!) after doing London last year and both were utterly amazing experiences.

However, I am very much in awe of some of the inspirational speakers we work with whose achievements far exceed my efforts. The likes of Dr Ed Coats, a full-time doctor who took on the remarkable challenge of trekking to the North Pole with James Cracknell and Ben Fogle and Nick Saunders who completed the Marathon De Sables. There is also Maria Conceicao who set up her own charity to help families in the slums of Bangladesh and then proceeded to climb Mount Everest, and take part in ultra-marathons all to raise money for her charity.

Lastly, Kevin Gaskell, the former CEO of Porsche, is currently training with his son to row across the Atlantic having previously walked to both the North and South pole with Alan Chambers (an extraordinary explorer in his own right).
