Imposter Syndrome Speakers

Imposter Syndrome Speakers

Despite working in the speaking industry and booking for speakers for over 25 years I am not actually that comfy speaking on stage myself. I have great admiration for anyone who can speak from the stage and whilst I can do it, I always see myself as more engine room that front of house.

It does however sometime may me feel like a bit of imposter and based on the enquiries we have received I don’t think I am the only one to experience this. These are a few speakers that talk on imposter syndrome, why we experience it and how to overcome it.

SALLY HENDERSON

Sally Henderson is the High-Stakes Leadership Speaker and Mentor senior leaders call when the pressure is relentless and the next move really matters. Sally has spent more than 26 years in the room with C-suite leaders and executive teams, guiding them through their highest-stakes moments. Sally does a talk around Imposter Syndrome below –

Fantasy Fear: why imposter syndrome is the wrong diagnosis – What if we’ve been diagnosing self-doubt all wrong? For years, we’ve used the term Imposter Syndrome to explain the self doubt so many capable leaders experience. But in today’s permanently high-stakes world, Sally believes it’s time to rethink that diagnosis.

Drawing on more than 26 years mentoring senior leaders through career-defining moments, Sally introduces Fantasy Fear, a more accurate and empowering way of understanding the imagined fears that shape our thinking, influence our decisions and limit our performance when left unchecked.

At the heart of the keynote is The 5 Word Reveal, a practical tool that helps leaders gain rapid new emotional awareness, positively reframe the fears holding them back and accelerate high performance. Audiences leave with a fresh perspective on self doubt and a practical technique they can apply in their very next high-stakes moment
